How
Do I Measure?
Restocking fees of 20% per collar will apply if a collar exchange
is needed for incorrect measuring. Your item is custom made for your dog
so we can not stress enough to PLEASE measure correctly. We really don't
want to charge you :)
When measuring for a perfect fit collar use these
simple tips.
If your pet already
has a collar : BUCKLE Type Collar
Do not measure the entire length of the collar. Remove
the collar from your pet and lay it on a ruler. Do not measure the entire
buckle, start where the fabric or webbing begins. The fabric should be at
the end of the ruler, not at the # 1. Look at hole where your collar was
buckled, the hole that your pet was using, and match it up with the number
on the ruler. This is the smallest size you pet can wear. If in doubt, go
up one size or number. Our collar sizing runs true, if you order a 10-11”
the holes will be at the 10” and the 11”.
If your pet already has a collar :
Clip Type Buckle 
Adjust the collar to the size your pet was wearing. Un
clip the buckle and lay the collar on a ruler. Part of the buckle should
be at the end of the ruler, not at the #1. Measure the length of the collar
including the other part of the buckle. This is the SMALLEST size your
pet wears. Use this number as your base number, you may choose to go up
a size. We make the adjustable collars in 2 inch increments, so if we are
attaching embellishments, the slider will still slide allowing the collar
to go up or down in size. If you do not add the flowers or bows to the
quick clip collar, the collar will fully adjust like all adjustable collars.
Our collar sizing runs true, if you order a 10-11” the collar including
the buckle will be that size.
Measuring your pet: 
Use a soft tape measure. Wrap the tape measure around
the pets neck snugly, but NOT tight , leaving one or two fingers room,
however you like your collar to fit. Line the end of
the tape measure up with the numbers on the tape measure. This is the smallest
size your pet can wear. Use that number as your guide. If you do not have
a soft tape measure, use a piece of string and the instructions above.
Mark where the end of the string lines up with the string around the pets
neck. Lay it out on a ruler to measure( Start at the end of the ruler,
not the #1) This is the smallest size your pet should wear.

Measuring for a Harness:
When measuring for a perfect fit harness use
these simple tips.
Neck: Measure from the Center of the TOP of the neck
to the center of the front of the Chest. You are only measuring one side
of the pet.
Chest: Measure the broadest part of chest right behind the
front legs. On most breeds the broadest part is at the ribcage. The Whole
length around.

when necessary. Keep your pets safe !

Clothing & Apparel:
When measuring for a perfect fit clothing
& apparel use these simple tips.
Measure the broadest part of the chest/ribcage. If the chest fits, the
rest should be a good fit.

Taking Care of your Designer Collar:
We do choose the best fabrics and our collars are durable
but not everlasting. Some prints do wear and the color, at some point,
will wear off. Please remember these are decorative collars and some extra
care will be needed.
We recommend spot cleaning on any embellished collars
and hand washing on all of the others. Lay flat to dry to help
the collar keep its shape and keep the fabric fresh looking. If the collar
gets slightly frayed, remove the collar from the pet, and burn the edges
QUICKLY with a lighter. All the embellishments are treated with a fray
blocker that CAN be flammable. Use extra caution around the embellishments.
All of our collars, leads and harness are made with delicious fabrics,
durable nylon webbing and your choice of buckles & embellishments. Cloe’s Collars
are not guaranteed against excessive chewing, pulling and scratching. Pets
should never be tied out on a Cloe’s product. Always check your pets collar
for wear and replace as needed.

Processing:
We
process your order as soon as possible. Your item is handmade so
please allow 2-3 working days for a shipping notice. We do try
our best to have all of the wonderful fabric on hand, but
sometimes, we just can’t seem to keep up. We will always notify
you if a fabric is backordered or out of stock.

We use USPS with delivery confirmation. Please allow 3-7
days, after receiving your shipping notice, for you package to arrive.
All orders are packaged in adorable gift boxes, wrapped in paw print tissue
paper and spring fill. So having your gift shipped to a friend is as easy
as ordering. We can discount shipping on large orders, please contact us
first.
Wholesale Orders:
We do not offer wholesale at the present time, however,
we do have a few boutiques that purchase our products and we give discounts
on shipping. Please contact us before placing an order.
What
are restocking fees?
Because Cloe’s offers so many options on each collar,
we find it very difficult to find another buyer that wants the same buckle,
size and embellishments that you have chosen. But, we are in the planning
process of a Brink/Mortar store and will no longer have these fees once
everything is in place.
